Volume 24, Issue 6, June 2024

The June 2024, issue 6 contains two review articles, five short reviews, eight research articles and five short communications.

The review articles in this issue are about probiotics enhancing immunity; and a current update on Shilajeet. The short reviews include potentials of Portulaca oleracea; stress reducing botanicals; review on Passiflora edulis and Buddleja crispa; and nephroprotective plants in Ayurveda.

There are research articles on, anti-hyperlipidemic activity of Elaeocarpus angustifolius leaves; comparative clinical study on Agnikarma along with Panchatikta Guggulu in osteoarthritis; investigation of anti-cancer potential of Solanum virginianum fruits and leaves; neuroprotective effect of salicin; evaluation of prebiotic potential and HPTLC analysis of Withania somnifera; simultaneous quantification of embelin, piperine and gallic acid by HPLC; antitumour potential of Diospyros chloroxylon; and synergistic activity of Jasminum sambac in rheumatoid arthritis.
