Abstract
Nutrition and health are not synonymous but for good heahh adequate nutrition is indispensable. At present the major focus of medical doctors in hospitals is on treating diseases or developing skills in surgery and medicine and the important role of nutrition in health and disease is neglected. Infact the nutritional state of many of the malnourished and poorly nourished patients gets aggravated due to lack of attention to the important aspect of human nutrition. Although most physicians readily acknowledge the value of nutrition as an integral part of good medical care, yet few have had training necessary to make this a reality.Downloads
