Abstract
The challenge of chemotherapy is to produce effective tumour killing with minimum impact on normal tissues. Global estimates indicate that over three-fourth of the population cannot afford the products of western pharmaceutical industry and have to rely upon traditional medicines which are mainly derived from plants. Within the next decade or two, cancer is likely to become one of the leading causes of death. However, the bulk of cancer should be preventable because most of its causes are available.Downloads
