There is seldom a quick answer for resolving problems associated with porosity in aluminium welds. The reason is that the porosity can be caused by a number of conditions relating to material, consumables, and/or equipment. It is often necessary to address this problem through a process of elimination and evaluating each potential problem area to identify the true cause.
