Abstract

On behalf of the Kolkata Branch I express my thanks to the Central Council for giving us the responsibility of bringing out the Indian Welding Journal with effect from January 2004 issue. Our editorial team has taken up the task in right earnest and all our efforts have been made to make the journal of a quality that it deserves and also to ensure that the members get the journal in time.
