Abstract

For healthcare both curative and preventive, role of paramedical personnel is very important, but practically under estimated. It is also ill-conceived and devoid of social orientation.

The healthcare, because of social stratification, is dependent on the doctors. Community if confided can play a greater role.

In this article, the problems of education and training of the paramedic has been presented as need based and with community orientation.
