Abstract

Computerised Axial Tomography (CAT), a device to study the internal organs of a body without surgery, has been a significant discovery for clinical radiology. CAT has several advantages over the conventional X-ray method of having information, particularly of human brains. Inspite of its prohibitive costs, these gadgets have superseded the conventional X-ray method of studying the internal organs of the human body.
