Ankor (Alangium salviifolium) is a very common wild shrub of abandoned land which is distributed as ungraceful bushes throughout India. From ancient Ayurveda to recent scientific literatures, researchers have reported about its efficacy against many human diseases. However, in our so-called civilized society, very few people know about its uses as well as medicinal importance. The aim of this article is to make the people aware about the importance of such a neglected beauty.Downloads
