Abstract

Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray is known to us as a renowned scientist and founder of India's first pharmaceutical industry (Bengal Chemical & Pharmaceutical Works). He encouraged youth of the contemporary society for entrepreneurship. Besides this, he was also a great thinker and writer. We can have a good idea about this aspect of his wisdom and prudence, if we go through the essays written by him as well as the speeches he delivered in various occasions. It can be reiterated that his intellect was not confined in the field of Chemistry.
